Anyways, an Air Force base is constructed in Manhattan with the president's consent, and troops pull out of USCS and are redirected to support the battle in NIR via dropship.  More supplies are flown to NIR via dropship as well, and Devastator gun-runs are more apparent in NIR now than they were before.  Battle tanks and infantry push forward at the frontlines, almost reaching the capital.

Perhaps a little further down the line, they are still pretty new and need more testing to see if they work properly.
Also they can be expensive to build without a proper Tokamak reactor to power them.
