direct hit is more of a lulzy weapon imo. i love using it, to slam low hp classes in the face with, and smashing the stuff out of sentries, but the minus splash damage makes it more of like a sniper than a rocket launcher lel

being ambushed means you forgeted up somewhere. you either a. didn't go around corners carefully enough (or in which case if there was no way to not get killed, your team should have told you about it meaning there should only be one death) b. you let a pyro get behind you and also didn't look behind yourself enough.

it's not the pyro's fault if you and your team can't work together.

I just would like to point this out, I don't want to drag out an argument. You know the pyro's an ambush class correct? If he's not ready to ambush you the PYRO is doing something wrong. You also shouldn't need a team to scout something out to not call it OP. You can use that excuse even for a permacrit heavy, any and everything including that can usually be overcome with the right tactic, however in this case, it's an ambush, unless you're moving with your entire team with you at all times around corners this strategy doesn't work so well. In other words this defense is great in theory, not in play.

That's all I have to say about it, it really isn't argument material because it's completely true.

It can't be counteracted, the other weapons are not underpowered, in comparison to the other pyro weapons sure, people were very efficient without the Degreaser, no one was thinking Pyro needed a buff, and now it even has a buff on the defaults! I don't see what way you can try to defend it.

I don't either, it's when people, as Jairo said, act smug that I begin to have an issue, especially when it's something that is about a majority of players, which is what I base things off of.

Freeze has acted this way twice now, once with the Ambassador and now with this, each time I've had an issue with, if anyone brought this up without using the "no you're just bad" argument it would've been a lot more subtle.
