Also it really irks me that the costume pieces from the gifts are untradable, I guess it's to stop people from farming them but it means I can't trade a piece I don't want for something I do, the Transmogrifiers are probably supposed to make up for that but in the end I've just got a bunch of things I don't want that I basically  have to delete because I can't do anything else with them

yeah but only on a server that you use it on and for a short amount of time

Odd. My mac has no issues with the halloween update. Maybe you have to reinstall or remove your skin/soundpacks.
