I have a feeling this is a leaked video from Valve. Let's look at the facts.
-Professional quality mocap (valve has used mocap for TF2 recently)
-Account was made days ago
-Only video on the account
-The video was posted 1 and a half days after the update launched, but uses both voice lines and has 30 seconds involving content from the update
-Involves spells in the update (fire throwing scout)
-Doesn't look like a final render (lighting, samples, sound, etc)
-Merasmus has flexes
-Custom content

has anyone noticed that when you get a gift it picks a random class each gift you get you get a hat/misc for that class? and then when you get 3 it switches to another class?

Its actually kinda fun, since now they actually make noise, but meh, they're still resistant to EVERYTHING (even afterburn) except for direct damage

I'm not sure i understand your post, but if you're saying you only get items for the class you're playing as, i was playing as a Pyro, and got the gift twice, one was a Pyro item and the other was a Demo item, so i don't think that's how that works
