Me and my group had this good setup for finally beating Mann Up Mode

Got to the 7th (out of 8) wave and everyone had to leave and do stuff and like 2 people stayed. I played with absolute terrible strangers who had no idea what was going on. Finally the original team comes back, and we get stuck at wave 8 for a long time.


Finally beat wave 8. Someone got the metal medic backpack, others got random hats. 2 of us didn't get anything and it said they never even beat the mission on their badges.

But on a Mann Up match you have to matchmake to find servers. I had 2 friends trying to join and they couldn't. It said matchmaking was the only way.
How did that happen?

All I know is:

I created a Mann Up Party

Original team joins

Most of original team leaves

Random people join from the matchmaking with the option to join already started servers or something

Original team goes to "join game" Under my name.

We ask the random players to leave, some do some get kicked.

And we continue playing :/

There are workarounds apparently, but they sometimes cause bots to stop spawning, which would defeat the point.

Me and Mrhappy grouped up in mann up mode and almost won if it wasn't for this one player, febreze.

I'm digging through SPUF threads as we speak, but it had something to do with sv_visible_players or something along the lines of a kind like that.
