you didn't account for idle accounts and hats from drops. but not everyone has idle accounts or gets hats because they aren't lucky

i saw a discussion on a tf2 forums about idling and someone said they had 100+ accounts for idling and its a good bit of income for him.

They aren't "technically" anything. You said promos. They aren't promos. Promos are what you get for buying another game.

They aren't "technically" anything. You said promos. They aren't promos. Promos are what you get for buying another game.

According to wikipedia, promotion is:
To present information to consumers as well as others.
To increase demand.
To differentiate a product.

I.E. an ad.  Weta's items were promoting their actual models.

This. Most people are like "hey look, a limited edition thing. bet I could get it now and then it'll be worth 2 buds later!!!" Without realizing that the easier it gets to obtain something in tf2 (and the more people that get it) the more worthless it becomes

Yeah. I don't expect the pin to be worth much more than the Genuine Atomic Accolade.
