well if you guys feel that way, ill stop posting about it then after this post
but honestly i feel its childish to not admit you're wrong when you are

I don't want to continue this, but this is just pure ignorance, unless you are some god among men and NEVER miss a shot ever when going for a headshot then yes, it's better, in case you forgot this also started off of you recommending this to someone who was inexperienced, so that chart would be VERY different.

that's all i said
if you hardly miss a shot and are an amazing shot it's better, sorry if i didnt make it clear what i was saying

also accounted for the recommending it to a new player, saying:
i guess you could look at it like that but i'd personally rather just jump in the deep-end when learning a new weapon, it's not like you can't bodyshot with the amby but it's obviously better to just try and headshot

though it's completely fair if you do want to try with the default first i suppose ^.^

Freeze, just leave.

By this logic, sniper is by far the best class.

Freeze, just leave.
Just replying to defend myself, not trying to start anything new, not gonna let myself just get beaten down with no resistance : \

No because you can kill a sniper before he can scope in and kill you, as well as the fact you can sneak up on a sniper. Obviously that also accounts for Spies but there's a much higher chance of it happening to a Sniper than a Spy.

Truth be told a great Sniper is pretty hard to counter if you're a Scout or something.

"Defend yourself"
hehehehehehehehe

Doesn't matter, you can kill a spy as practically any class as well.

Sniper is obviously the best class because it's the exact same logic you're using for the ambassador being "better."

no it's not
there are loads of weapons that do more damage over time than the sniper rifle, it's just when comparing revolvers the ambassador does both more damage over time AND damage in one shot

I also didn't say the ambassador was better all the time (if I did I apologize and disregard that, I didn't mean to say that if I did)
I said it was a crutch and was better if you are an amazing aim, which it is. Objectively, it IS better because of this, it's only when you take in human attributes such as handi-coordination does it become maybe not as good.

does the bolt boy shoot lazers like xmen cyclops

I also didn't say the ambassador was better all the time

This whole argument started literally based on what I bolded.

You must not know the definition of a crutch in games, the liberty launcher is an actual crutch, it's rockets travel faster but has less damage overall, and really has no use to an experienced soldier (of which there are PLENTY) because it's only arguable upside is being able to hit for example, scouts which an experienced soldier can hit.

The Ambassador requires an inhuman amount of skill to be considered "better" because unless you never miss, the revolver out damages it which a very good amount of players lack.

It's not nearly as difficult to body shot people a close range making it overall more effective for almost all players.

Just like the Bazaar Bargain is the best sniper in the sense that if you never miss a headshot you'll be rewarded.

But even the best Snipers I've encountered STILL don't use this and use stock.

is there a list with all the new hats on it?

lots of people are great with the amby, sure they might not hit 100% of the time but a lot of people hit loads. i met a guy on a server the other day that i couldn't kill as a scout because he was hitting those headshots like no tomorrow.

define crutch for me, ill see if our definitions are the same because im thinking maybe they aren't. i define crutch as something that better players will do worse with than they would another, and worse players would do better with than another.

it's really not inhuman to land 1 - 3 headshots with the amby, i've done it before and i know a couple of people that do it many times a day consistently and trust me they are a bugger to kill haha.

also the argument didn't start on what you bolded, it started when i said amby was a crutch and was told otherwise :P

Today dissapointment struck.
I remembered the TF2 config files "chapter 1","chapter 2", "chapter 3"
I decided I'd execute them from the console

they're the developer commentary stuff :(
