It amazes me how many people either play with their volume low, have no headphones, or are hard of hearing (or any combination of the three)

I find myself having to decloak in some very dangerous areas in close proximity to enemies with no background noise, and I know for a fact that I've heard Spies decloak from further away than that yet the majority of the time I go completely unnoticed

Ninja: I suppose it's also possible that there's a fourth option; people who haven't played the game long enough to recognize a decloak when they hear it

yeah. I've decloaked behind heavies and soldiers a lot of times and they don't even bother to turn around

imo the only difficult thing about TF2 is the sniper and spy.
