yes.

kits work like this.

three tiers.

you need 1 regular kit to make a specialized kit. you need 2 specialized kits to make a professional kit.

if you're planning on working on a professional kit, do not apply the normal kit or specialized kits to strange, genuine or vintage weapons or else you won't be able to use it. items need to be unique only.

also. a great way to make profit is completing specialized kits.

example. I have just gotten a rocket launcher specialized fabricator as a drop in mvm.

the fabricator goes for 10$ whereas the completed kit goes for 19$.

normal kit costs 6$, so if i buy the normal kit then complete the fabricator i can make 13$ profit versus 10$.

you need the kit that corresponds with the fabricator

pretty sure you can use any killstreak kit to help complete a fabricator, i did it with my sniper rifle fabricator
