Anybody wanna trade crates for anything? I have four Mann Co. Stockpile Crates, four Mann Co. Supply Munition Series #82, and two Mann Co. Supply Munition Series #83. I'm never going to open them, it's nearly impossible to sell them on the market, and I don't wanna simply delete them.

It's pretty easy to do with VTFEdit. Just extract the texture, import the texture again with the picmip function disabled, and save.

Then you would be using custom VTF files, which is only allowed when sv_pure is 0, sv_pure doesn't affect mat_picmip

I will actually try that, but it just sucks that it won't work on every server :(

If they arent any of the wanted crates (Salvaged, #60) or any of the crates on the market that are more than 10 cents, then just delete them.
No body is going to trade anything for them unless they are new to the game and think crates are useful.

Someone added me the other day about the Unusual I was selling about a month ago and I was like...why is this guy just now asking me? I closed the trade on Outpost when I was finished so I didn't understand how he even found it, I just told the guy he was too late and wished him luck

After some thinking I went to bazaar.tf and found that I'd put the trade up there too and completely forgot about it afterwards, and those trades apparently don't expire

There were 3 offers that I never saw until then, fortunately they were all terrible

Some people will take certain crates for free if they're planning on doing some big unboxing sprees, but yeah I just keep like 1-2 crates of each series just in case I ever feel like unboxing something for laughs and delete the rest

Definitely not

You'd have a very hard time finding someone willing to give anything for a crate that isn't brand new or rare

Oh, you can't just gift money? I've never tried to do so myself. I guess that makes more sense than somebody trying to list a near-worthless crate for something hundreds of times higher than its usual value, and then somehow managing to sell it.
