tf2's inflation is just going to keep going
why do people keep thinking it's going to stop?
all users can randomly get weapons for free, which can be made into scrap. which eventually leads to refined.
keys, however, only enter circulation in significant amounts when people buy them for 2.49 USD.
unusuals can only enter circulation by being found in crates. uncrating removes many keys from circulation, rivalling that of mass hat-crafts which eat up refined.
therefore, refined is on a constant inflation in comparison to keys, and is only going to get cheaper. tf2's economy is unsustainable. the only way to make them go down is to make weapons stop dropping. even if there is a sudden influx of keys, their only comparison other than refined is real money-- and it's always going to be 2.49 USD.
