I had to stop playing MvM because I started to take it a little too seriously. I would have to explain how to new people who go on two cities for the Austrailiums how to do their role, they ignore me, then continue on doing it VERY wrong.
I don't get serious with boot camp because its not paid for and no rewards, so its all in good fun, but Mann Up requires you to pay tickets for and gives rewards, so I don't want to spend over an hour trying to win a match because our scout missed a stuff ton of cash or someone wanted to go sniper instead of demo and proves that he cant shoot a head to save his life.

Pretty much I just stopped, I became that guy who micromanged the team and everything and I dont like being that guy

ah yes remember when playing mvm was actually a fun experience

i hope comp doesn't turn out like MvM
Introducing: Mann Up for competitive!!! counts how many wins you get overall and could give you a platinum frying pan as an ultra rare reward!!!! also you have to pay for each match forget you hope you keep playing even when it stops being relevant so you have vote kick immunity

I'm the person who would enjoy micromanaging, though only by a LITTLE. I would need brief refreshers/managing on what upgrades to buy or how to do something, but usually then I would be told that I do an alright job. I'd need these refreshers because I usually go long periods of time in-between doing entire tours in a short span of time and forget some things.

Yeah I do try to keep it low but sometimes you just get that team
Also if anyone wants to do an MvM tour RIGHT NOW steve and I are doing one cause why not

Hi, I'm the original uploader of the HazMat and submitted it's fix. Let's talk about the sniper version.

So the HazMat had a clipping fix and color change sitting on the workshop for some odd 3+ years now, and with the recent wave of accepting fixes for a bunch of older items, what better a time, right? So I packed it all up, sent it over to Eric ( guy who handles updating cosmetics and general correspondence for the tf team )

He got back to me saying the other styles needed to be updated too, of course, but as I was doing that I got a spark of an idea. I wanted to see if I could jokingly make it "sniper compatible" and slip it in, as a joke, see if they'd catch it and then go 'hey now, this looks like trash, we can't accept this'

They didn't. So now here we are, it's not the future we wanted, but it's the one we're stuck in.

amazing

still have 5 or 10 minutes until we start if you want to join.

Paint it grey with pyrovision goggles, then you have a combine soldier!

I've said it before and I'll say it again

I would pay for a fourth cosmetic slot
