if you have no android or ios device then use bluestacks and run the steam apk on it

honestly they just shouldnt be forcing the mobile auth stuff down our throats, if we believed we needed more security, we'd use the mobile auth stuff

but valve shouldnt be putting so many restrictions on people just because they dont have ONE extra form of security available
especially when the restrictions just make trading ANYTHING painful

think about this:
You want to put up your key on the market for 2.59, which is lower than all the other key prices at the time, you put it up but wait! it wont actually go up until 15 days from now, and 15 days from now, people are now selling keys for as low as 2.48 which means theres absolutely no chance of anyone caring to buy yours, so you remove it to re-add it and update the price, but now you have to wait 15 days again, thus preventing you from really using the market AT ALL

and nobody is going to want to trade with someone if they have to wait 15 days to recieve their items, you're basically like a diseased person to anyone else that everyone would want to stay away from trading with, thus meaning its impossible to use trading AT ALL

just remove the restriction stuff, keep the mobile auth and everyone will be fine.

The problem is that now steam is no longer going to physically restore item's onto your account once stolen from your account, this has been a huge problem glooming over TF2 ever since valve has started offering up this remedy.

This may not seem like a legitemate problem, but this has been damaging the value of item's and the economy as a whole.

If someone was able to get into your account now without the mobile authenticatour and the restriction's coupled with i't in place, you are now put in even more risk of permanently losing your valuable item's.

This plugin does not eliminate the requirement's of requiring a mobile phone, i't is used by people with mobile phone's yet they can't run the authenticatour because there Os isn't supported.

can't damage the economy if its still the same items the person already had, just restored from a recent save of their inventory or something

No, the problem is that steam is no longer physically restoring item's stolen from you in order to maintain the stability of item worth.

how would restoring them disrupt the stability?

the amount of the items in existence wouldnt change, as they'd just move your OWN items back into your OWN inventory, meaning the value of the items would stay the same, as theres effectively no change in the amount of the items in existance caused from those restores

I mean I'm pretty sure they would still restore items atleast once for people who got hacked, thats atleast how I would assume it worked before.

That's not how they do i't, however.
This is the reason why there are duplicate's on the market.
