The authenticator will have to be updated to support the community market though, for people like me that have a Windows Mobile device we have a third party authenticator app now but the update is going to break it.

If valve is going to force this stuff on us they should make it accessible in more than just a android or ios device, that requirement is loving handicapped.

I follow an account where people submit tf2 item names they've seen and most of them are unfunny nonsense sent by the person who owns the item but this one actually made me exhale sharply in amusement

getting a lot of these little updates lately

The tf2 comp scene died a good while ago. A lot of the pros went to Overwatch comp

Overwatch comp
for some reason I feel like overwatch will require a lot less actual skill to play

I like all these updates to the materials of models of community made items, it makes me feel like Valve and the community actually care about keeping the game's assets up to date rather than letting them rot and look outdated compared to the newer stuff

I've had this hitsound for a long ass time. It's the joseph joestar signature "oh no!" as a hit sound and an even more dramatic sounding "oh no!" crit sound.

looks like they added big glowing effects to active teleporters so you can't hide them as well anymore

reminds me of the teleporters in overwatch

TF2 now competing with Overwatch confirmed

I just had a 30 minute comp round holy stuff it was tight
barely defended last about 7 times as our scout capped 2nd or the demo respawned just in time, engineer set up ninja teleporters, me and another sniper took turns blasting eachother's heads off

and we still won 2 - 0
loving cash
I'm so hard right now

I always though of Overwatch more like a cousin to TF2 as opposed to a competitor, haven't tried it yet but I don't know how I feel about a stuff ton of characters as opposed to the usual 9.

I'm expecting somebody to do a TF2 x Overwatch model swap mod eventually , or better yet a actual thing between Valve and Blizzard where there's TF2 stuff added in Overwatch and Overwatch Promo items in TF2.

some of the new class restriction removals are a bit weird for some cosmetics but I mean hey, more all-class hats means more freedom and variety with hats I guess.
