can anyone answer this economic question of mine? back in the 2012-14 period a lot of people said that ear buds and Bill's cap' was worth a lot of money. But as time has gone past the value of both items have depreciated and are now worth a few £s on steam (Unless the item is specialized, genuine, unusual then it's worth a lot). Is there any reason for why this has happened?

the prices started to drop lower than usual, all the people hoarding them as currency flipped the forget out and started quickselling everything as fast as possible as cheap as possible because they were afraid it was going to get worse and they'd lose everything, and the market price repeatedly changed to reflect that until they were worth peanuts

Eh? You have a stereotype for everything?

I said that just in case because, when Overwatch was released and growing up, everyone kept saying "WILL OVERWATCH KILL TF2???? OMG" and I knew that was ridiculous from the start because they're distinct games despite having 'classes', and more than 9 in that matter.
Overwatch didnt kill TF2, TF2 killed TF2.
The removal of valve servers and creating the (Casual) matchmaking system was such a bad thing to do. Now I cant go on any old valve server that's playing the map I like, beat it, then leave when it changes and go to another server. The only way to get a map I want to play is community servers, which has its own big problems.
People weren't so hell bent on try-harding on valve servers. The introduction of casual matchmaking changed that.

Along with that you haven't heard of how matchmaking is today, where matchmaking times got fixed to reasonable values and you can now freely choose what map you want to play, the last paragraph is plain wrong. Depending on if by "try-hard" you mean "guy who actually goes for the objective" or "guy who kills friendlies outside of idle/trade/dm servers". Try-harding has always existed before and after matchmaking.

How do I forget with this loser/scammer, the non consensual way?
Apparently he wasn't scamming and he gave me a key and some ref by "brokering" when I gave him 2 taunts

hey thats actually pretty sweet. nice

I can't imagine Seth as anything other than a friendly sandvich heavy

oh, i wish i was a pro instead of getting salted..
i wish i was p2p.
i wish i wasn't killed much by soldiers, snipers and pyros...

that feeling of being mvp, having far more kills than deaths, and winning the rounds..
it should be really hard to make skills, though.

the only problem which assolates me a ton is when you dont play the game much frequently.
the skills deteriorate if you dont play much.

hehe i did used to do that quite a bit back in the day

i can't remember if this was in that server or not (it was definitely on the same map but i played it a few times) but once i got killed by a heavy doing the showdown taunt and it was hilarious

red spy your scout is bad

Found the maps, however I still stand by what I said. I queued for Harvest twice. Both times i got in it was RIGHT at the end of the match, and then it gives up options for maps that aren't even KOTH
Teams don't fill back up unless you are playing on one of what, 3 popular maps? and even then i havn't seen a server fill back up
Team balance is a joke. Asking people to go over to what is usually the losing team almost never works, even with the exp incentive. I used to hate autobalance but I'm seeing that it may not be such a bad thing.
Plus you cant leave whenever you feel like without a penalty, which is just dumb. Casual should not punish you for leaving, especially when community servers are now pretty vacant outside of Skial.

actually it used to do that early on in the meet your match update but they removed it later, didn't get rid of the "abandon" message for some reason tho

Skial servers aren't even good, though.
There's better community servers out there on a similar scale, if people would find them.

I used to play a lot of x10 Vs. Saxton Hale mode. It was always great being hybridknight with crit pre-nerf Loch-N-Load.

Skial servers aren't even good, though.

I never said they were, I was excluding them because they are usually full. You can not in any way shape or form defend community servers now. There used to be WAY more active community servers
