Stupid question but what does the colourblind mode in L4D do?

Due to it being a jpeg the color morphing lets me see the shape . . . for the most part.

Png samples though i can't find any but i can't see the last column on this one.

From left to right, top to bottom, the numbers are 25, 6, 8, 56, 29 and 45. I don't know if you actually had trouble seeing them or were just joking around, but there you go. I hope it helps.
