What happens if you don't have any kind of pistol with you while carrying a flag? Can you hold a two handed weapon with one hand or do you hold the flag with both hands?

Aw, that kinda sucks, what if i want to charge shot with a plasma pistol and finish off my opponent with the flag?

Reminds me of Left 4 Dead 2 though since you get a pistol while down even though you're carrying a melee weapon

Well maybe if you had a 1 handed weapon you'd switch it immediately.
I just know say if you had, a Beam Rifle and Rocket Lawnchair and you picked up the flag, suddenly boom magnum.

Well I never saw any multiplayer servers on Halo 2 Vista so I just assumed the MP was cancelled for the PC version too.
