Pretty sure I said why in the OP.

I would be able to work at my own pace, I could get a job, I could finish highschool early, ect.

work at your own pace, don't have to deal with yolocigarettes or unreasonable teachers, you still learn the same stuff but without the monopolization of what everyone learns

I dont think im special, but I would rather learn at my own pace and get further ahead in life than be stuck in a school where I have to follow everyone elses stupid pace.

Half the people here who have spent most of their life in a public school or only homeschooled for a short time will come in here and use stuffty generalizations to make some sort of point made of straw. I had just as much if not more interaction homeschooled than the limited hell public school is.

it's better than public school because you usually get some say in what you want to do, you can get help easier, etc

There are many different forms of homeschooling. Whether or not it is limited to the teacher depends on what curriculum you use. So in which case I could finish a grade faster than you could take a stuff in the toilet and actually learn something.
