Author Topic: Warning - Disable your browser's Java - Malicious exploit hits web.  (Read 4055 times)

Go away.
Why?  Is it bad to suggest just being careful and not visiting shady sites in the first place?  It seems a little overzealous to disable everything java.

o.o mine already disabled itself.

No need to disable, it's called a Drive-by Download which in most cases uses Java to download the virus. It's nothing new.

No it isn't.

The loving people who did this need to be hanged if found. I'm tired of this.

Version 10.5.1.255

Should I still disable it?

Thanks for the warning, I disabled java.

This has nothing to do with Javascript.
It blocks java too

why is there an obama head
Must be some internet handicap who ripped an image and placed it there.

It blocks java too

But very few sites use Java, while many use Javascript. You don't need to completely disable Javascript to stop this exploit, just Java.

My sister just got Java on her laptop.
How2disableonInternetExplorer .

Bah, I just uninstalled it.
