The thread starts out with simple opinions, a clean debate, and valid arguments.

False. In order for it to be a clean debate there must be at least one clean argument for both sides. The Blockland Forums deteriorates before a second argument appears. Usually a second one does appear eventually, but never two reasonable, opposing arguments in a row at the beginning of a thread.
