I just can't beat these marines for some reason just how they react on a dime completely forgets me over and I haven't played for a few days because of it.

I also have to unload like two clips of the automatic to kill one.

I just got to the end of the game. They fire up the portal to some other world, got attacked by a couple big-brained aliens, and after walking in to the sphere it ended. Is there more in the original game or what?

Half-life has an actual ending they haven't finished the last part.

i'm curious why they would release it unfinished, though it is just a mod that people have been anticipating for years.

It's the room where you get a pistol and grenades. All the doors are locked.

Find the two big red valves in the area and turn them. The freezer door to the room the houndeye jumped out of should then unlock.

Because just that, people have been anticipating it for years and they decided to show it off before everyone forgot about it.

There is a few more levels left (Xen) and a final boss.
