This sounds like something that would turn Steam into the bad direction...
So the ability to change how Steam looks, optimized for people who use a TV screen as their monitor is bad?

I'm not saying its bad, but there is a point where a company goes to these soft voice trailers and a few months later starts putting out all kinds of stupid stuff.

I hope it will work for all TVs.

"Plus a web browser for the TV that doesn't suck."
good work Valve.

An interesting move, but not enough to make me say: Hey, you know what we should do?
Move the PC into the living room.

I only got around to playing games on console because of the comfort of my couch. Made me feel all soft and warm and it kept me there for a while.

i like this.
10/10

The only new feature here is controller support.....

I know what TV I will buy this month.  Definitely a flat screen with built in internet access so I can run this stuff.

Are they seriously expecting me to casually unplug my £800 Computer and carry it all the way to the living room just so I can play on my TV?
Well I guess you'd get so tired after carrying it you'd need to lie down.
But seriously, why can't we just connect through a games console?

I did it all the time for the Dota 2 international.

I have a wireless mouse so all I had to do was bring my computer over to the TV plug in my PS3s HDMI cable and give my computer power and I was all set up.
