Author Topic: Metal Poisoning?  (Read 2009 times)

Lead is extremely dense, almost all gun/bb guns use it.
neat, i always thought of lead as being a soft metal.

He told me his mother had gotten it through touching the metal end of his BB gun.

I feel bad, but I don't know exactly what it is. (man i wish i had a Ph.D)

So, watdo to help?
BAHAHAHA
Wait, You're serious, Let me laugh even harder! HAHAHAHA!
OnT: Wait, I thought you could only get lead poisoning from getting the lead from a pencil stuck in a part of your body, Or swallowing something made from lead?

most pencils these days dont use lead anymore. lead pencils cna be found for artistic supplies, but even that's been replaced with charcoal.

i havent seen many lead BB guns, they're mostly copper, like mine.

Actually they are steel with copper paint.

any copper that's found is used as a conductor. we should really start using gold since it's a better conductor than copper and doesnt wear as fast as copper.

Did he get cut by the end and he didn't have a tetnis shot?

Copper also has anti-bacterial properties, which is why it should be used in more things like door handles, sink handles, and cross walk buttons. Anyway it either sounds like lead poisoning from lead pellets, or tetnis from rust.

Beryllium is pretty toxic.

OP please make more sense and explain what happened exactly

It IS soft. It's also dense. It's both and that's why we don't use it, other than its toxicity.

Pencil "lead" hasn't had any real lead in it for decades, it's graphite (carbon) nowadays.
Also lead can poison you easier but slower than it sounds.

Did the person try to eat and digest it?

Lead is dense but it is also soft.

Every single person in this thread is completely wrong about everything.

The only solution to your issue is to ask elsewhere.
