most pencils these days dont use lead anymore. lead pencils cna be found for artistic supplies, but even that's been replaced with charcoal.

any copper that's found is used as a conductor. we should really start using gold since it's a better conductor than copper and doesnt wear as fast as copper.

Copper also has anti-bacterial properties, which is why it should be used in more things like door handles, sink handles, and cross walk buttons. Anyway it either sounds like lead poisoning from lead pellets, or tetnis from rust.

It IS soft. It's also dense. It's both and that's why we don't use it, other than its toxicity.

Pencil "lead" hasn't had any real lead in it for decades, it's graphite (carbon) nowadays.
Also lead can poison you easier but slower than it sounds.
