Should it happen?

Valve should totally take control of Mojang.

Maybe a sort of half-ownership for Valve?

Oh completely missed your meaning

i'm still not allowing it

i'm still not allowing it

He might be working for them right now for all we know

maybe thats the real reason he left

you better do something

I don't get why people enjoy it. The survival thing is fun for 2 seconds and its overpriced.

RAWR.

I don't think you've even played minecraft; you said you hadn't even paid for it. :P

Minecraft feels less and less like a digging/building sandbox game with each update. Plus creativity is limited to cubed blocks, fences, signs, and torches, and anything.

Also whenever I look over at my brothers screen he is always Yogscast or Slyfox or who the big minecraft guys are and all they do is punch trees, dig stuff, or placing down blocks and just talk about random stuff. I don't get what the big deal is with them because thats all they ever do and for some reason they get lots of views. He even wasted 20 dollars just for the game and barely plays it, instead he watches videos of minecraft all day everyday.

i hope you're joking

Mojang might as well be purchased by EA

Valve makes hat simulators, Mojang makes unrealistic survival games.

Both 2 great game companies, but both 2 different types of game makers.

Mojang is nowhere near the quality required for valve.

All Valve ever does is release more and more hats and preorder stuff.

Valve wouldn't want to hire Mojang people at this point. Maybe when MC was getting started, but it's too late for Valve to really benefit from it. MC was a runaway success that nobody saw coming and it really should not have happened. By the time anybody realized that MC was "going big", it was too late for anybody to consider buying Mojang, and Notch would not have sold.

Plus, Mojang is doing just fine on their own and wouldn't want to be bought out, even by Valve. Maybe in the future if their future games fall flat (like Cobalt did), but for now they're riding the Minecraft wave.

All Valve ever does is release more and more hats and game sale gloriousness.
fixed

Someone with creativity should buy Minecraft.
im creative let me buy minecraft

I think Valve should stay away from Mojang right now and focus on the $1BIL dollars EA sports is sueing them for, but what I really think is like a half-half partnership thing :I

Mojang has done their job with minecraft, all they need to do now is ADD MOD SUPPORT for Xbox 360 and add a server list to both the computer and xbox versions.

You talk as if Mojang owns Microsoft and controls their forgeted up systems. Not to mention you act like hosting a master server which listens for every single loving server someone makes and lists it to everyone else is a simple, cheap thing.
