Badspot rent a billboard off the side of a very busy highway and put this:

Blockland
-the game where you build stuff

                        More info at :Blockland.us

And then have a Blockhead planting a brick in the background.
And about pricing it would probably have something that say $20.00 Online andmaybe a PC Only thing with a Windows and Mac Logo.

That wouldn't work so well. Blockland, while it is a great game, doesn't have anything very new or interesting to advertise. People will (obviously) think its a roblox or minecraft clone unless the ads exploit the stuff out of something that blockland has that is different that these other games don't

Just the fact this was created before those games is plenty of reason to give it a try.

Yeah but most people don't know that.

That's because they judge by visual appearance or if the game looks a certain way.

No. Most of the time people judge games by something new that they do (minecraft for example). Graphics do help but if you don't have a big wallet to advertise them there is really no point. Besides there is no in game settings for Anti Aliasing in blockland so its hard to marvel shaders when everything is so damn pixelated.

Actually, Some of the majority now decides the game by both, They decide about how "Flashy" or "Shiny" the graphics and game is without taking into account the other more important details, Some make the decision because of pictures or because some other person they enjoy is playing the game, Although unfortunate that's how it works now.

Graphics help but it won't stop blockland from looking like another generic building game. The thing that got me to try out blockland at all were the interiors and terrains. The idea of playing as a lego like figure in a real sized house.

It's not my opinion that graphics are the best part, It's just a large amount of person's looking for games tend to judge on graphics, The terrain and interiors actually were some of the best reasons, On the otherhand a bunch of the gamers will automatically assume it's similiar to other games without bothering to try it out.

That's enough out of you two.

What, the.. forget?
I don't get how his argument (serious or not), or any like it actually works.

"Keep Blockland out of the Steam Community"?

But, Blockland users (the people he has a problem with) are already a part of the Steam Community.
How many blockland users have steam accounts prior to even the creation of Greenlight?

If a game gets Greenlit, it's community doesn't enter the Steam Community. Instead the Steam Community enters the Game's Community?

Nevermind. His argument is trivial and doesn't blemish Blockland in any way.

your avatar just fits so well with that statement lol

I hope when steam puts it out on greenlight, I really hope the yogscast or someone will do a review of it.
Nope yogcast are not cool there not good

You would want gamechap or avgn?

Dear god, no. That would be like if PewDiePie reviewed Blockland, which practically prevents any other team/person from reviewing it because their fans are handicaps.

if anyone captainsparklez should def. review it

he's just a generally fun guy and people would hop on the game in seconds seeing him play it

avgn only plays old bad games
