For a tablet its decent. For a desktop its a pile of stuff.

It only runs faster then windows 7 because the computers are built with SDD's, more RAM, and better processors.

i tested windows 8 and windows 7 on the same computer and 8 runs faster wtf are you on

They booted about the same for me. I did a separate install and removed the stuffware from windows 7 and it started up about 7 seconds faster then windows 8.

I've installed numerous OSes on my laptop. Windows 8 boots by far the fastest. The hardware is crappy and still I get the best performance on Windows 8.
