I'm using the date format dd.mm.yy used pretty much everywhere in the world except for wierd americans.

No one cares what existing format you use. It's not very common that you see a date typed out as 2.15 or 15.2 Most of the time it's 2/15 or 15/2. Honestly to me it looked like you made up a date and the the next Greenlight Pick was going to be on February 15.2.

I've seen it done in the style of 15.2. rather than 15/2 before, (although uncommon online), but usually you'd put the year on the end just to make it clear, seeing as how it could look like decimals.

DD.MM.YYYY

Wait what
We use dd/mm/yyyy where I live, and I'm in America.
I guess it's kind of interchangeable. Sometimes I say mm/dd/yyyy, like with my birthday.
But where did yyyy/mm/dd come from like in the topic title?

This is going really of topic now.

Boo.

It is better for archiving data when sorted alphabetically. Compare the following:

DD/MM/YYYY alphabetically
15/02/2004
29/09/1902
30/05/1999

YYYY/MM/DD alphabetically
1984/12/01
2011/03/10
2012/05/22

Now imagine you have thousands of files using the first date format and for whatever reason you need to find it manually.

I prefer year first, Then i don't have to spend a bit wondering if it's day/month or month/day.

I prefer greenlight discussions. Then I wouldn't have to rip out a clump of my hair everytime I enter this topic.

Guys we're almost there! Get some more friends to vote for BL. (Better yet, make steam accounts and purchase the cheapest game and then vote for BL, loljk).

Good Lord, why must the format of Date and Time be so difficult to understand for you guys.

Idk I like Month/Day/Year, Example: 10/12/2012. 2012/9/12 also works with me but nothing else, its all just personal preference and how it was taught to you.

Why the forget..

Make a date stamp topic, shoo.

So I'm going to assume that when Blockland gets Greenlit the forums are going to get a sudden influx of new people?
