imo atheists are actually discriminated against in some areas
I can't speak for other countries, but in the US it's more like everywhere. I remember reading something about atheists being the most discriminated against minority.

I'd call it Dragonism
Down with the dragons!

I heard homoloveuals were the most discriminated against, though atheists sure do sound like a close second. My school is filled to the brim with Christians.

I was born and baptized as a catholic. But I don't pay attention to my religion attributes and followings.

I don't believe in any god or higher power, but I do believe in the concept of a soul and life after death.

Also poll needs scientology.

NOPE
It's not a belief, it's a lack of belief.

Agnosticism has nothing to do with "searching for God"; it's the idea that the existance of a god can not be proven/disproven, nothing more

This has been the way with all atheists and agnostics I've met. I've also brought the topic up with many people I respect and they all agreed on my position on atheism/agnosticism/areligion.

secular humanism
forget atheism and religion

I took a religion course at nerd camp over the summer, and one big point I learned in that class was that there is no definition set in stone for atheism or religion. It's basically a matter of opinion. The exact definition for religion is something that even religious scholars still debate about all the time. Same goes for Atheism. Whether it's a lack of a belief, or the belief in a lack of a God, is all up for debate.

Also by the way- in the past on these forums I got into some argument about that, I admit I was wrong, I don't consider any definition of the word atheism or religion a set in stone fact. Sorry about that

I've heard many more and far worse stories about atheists being discriminated against than I have homoloveuals.
Of course, just personal experience has problems, and there's probably some sort of cognitive bias involved about belonging to one group and not the other.
I'm not sure how this could be objectively quantified, but if anyone has any figures on this I'd like to see them.

Is it that hard to find yourself?

Quote
Agnosticism is the view that the truth values of certain claims—especially claims about the existence or non-existence of any deity, but also other religious and metaphysical claims—are unknown and (so far as can be judged) unknowable.

Most inclusively, atheism is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist.

Irreligion (also nullifidianism) may be defined as the absence of religion, an indifference towards religion, a rejection of religion, or hostility towards religion.
