gay = social outcast?
No, social outcast = target for ridicule

They know he is too weak (not physically) to challenge them.

gay = social outcast?
ok dont even try to pull the "oh stop discriminating gay people"
in 90% of the US schools gays aren't cool, they are gay and different and make people uncomfortable and are usually weird nerdy kids or losers to start off with

i mean seriously where have you been for the past ever?

not in a school

not in a school
you dont even have to be in a school to know this
why would being completely different from everyone else make you socially acceptable?

probably because 1. you're not cool or 2. your friends aren't cool and none of you have ever dated anyone before

which probs means you're not cool or gay
I dont know how I would classify school.
Im not hated by anyone. I don't know why anyone would have a problem with me.

Actually Nick is probably the "coolest" or whatever you want to classify it out of the people I sit with.

But Im friends with a lot of people at school.

Flameboyant gays are the worse. The kind that show it too much and then talk about how society oppresses them when all they self provoked it. I'm a metalhead, but I don't go around wearing the shirts of my favorite bands, or wearing leather, or wearing make up like kiss makeup then blasting my music in a place where people don't want to hear it.

I agree, camp gays (or camp straights) have any discrimination coming to them. But gay people who act like a human being are fine, in my book (well, duh).

why the hell would you want to be a social outcast?
i'd rather be a social outcast than lie to everyone and myself about who i am.

Two ways you could go here:
A. Tell the kid to forget off and do what you want and end up with a great participation grade, or
B. Answer questions less often. Believe it or not, this will make you more socially acceptable for some weird-ass reason.
It's when individuals act like a know it all jackass that upsets others.  Sure, it's stupid for people to actually consider others lower when they answer questions, but for the most part, when someone's sitting and acting as a teacher's pet, they're simply trying to gloat about their intelligence.

Except theres a difference between being a teachers pet and actually trying to know the materials we're going for.

I'm trying to ask and to answer a lot of questions because I have a C in that class and I got a 66 on the last quiz.

if nobody's answering a question and the teacher isn't moving on for some reason, then I'll answer it if I know it
otherwise I don't usually, unless I just really want everyone to know I know it

So you're gay?

I don't have any friends in real life...
