I thoguht I heard that you had to find it at a dock, and there's a chance it would leave. And the Crystal sector is somewhat more difficult, so you might get forgeted there lightly more easily than others.

I just got utterly pwned by a Slug cruiser while trying to get the Tactical Approach achievement.

I managed to jump out but I was stuck on four loving HP and couldn't get to a store fast enough to heal.



forget dammit, from now on I kill all ships which either are of Slug design or have even a single Slug on board. NO MERCY.

It was actually really easy.

One time I got a glaive beam. But I was early in the game, had a level 4 weapons system and the power but... My Artemis, Dual Laser Cannon and Small Bomb were working so well together, and I was low HP, low fuel... I ended up selling it for the scrap to repair my ship and buy fuel.

EVerytime i get near the end, I either run out of fuel and then get repeatedly attacked until I run out of missiles... Or I run out of missiles and get blowed up.

I don't find ftl to be frustrating at all. Except for when I forget to pay attention to how low my hull health is getting and somehow blow when I think everything is going great
