I just won my first battle by killing the crew. It was surprisingly simple.

Especially simple with the slug ships, actually.

Crew Teleporter+Drone Control+Anti-Pers. Drone?

Just a quick essentials list for the final boss (imo)
Max Shields
Crew Teleporter with Two Mantis
Level 2 Cloaking
General Crew to Repair Things
Either missiles or lasers that shoot at least five shots combined (preferably much more)
Preferably lvl 2 sensors

Teleport your mantis to each weapon room at the final boss, start on the missile room and then ion and then lasers and then beams.

Oh man, is this game worth it?

Everyone I know that has it has already put 300+ hours into it.

Completely, IF it's your sort of game.
There's not much story so watch some lets plays first and see if you like it.
(I'd reccomend alpacapatrol's ones)

It seems like my kind of game? Roguelike in space.

I feel like this game would be amazing on ios

Whats your guys favourite ships?
I love the second layout for the Kestral, and then the Zoltan ship probably comes second.
Both Engi layouts are loving boss if you know how to use them.

forget yeah. Just got the crystal guy, now hopefully we can make it to a rock sector :D

Then you'd need to survive the crystal ships of the area to the beacon with the ship and successfully capture it without it escaping or something.

The player will be sent to the secret sector, Hidden Crystal Worlds. From there, a quest marker will indicate where the Crystal Cruiser is docked.

I thoguht I heard that you had to find it at a dock, and there's a chance it would leave. And the Crystal sector is somewhat more difficult, so you might get forgeted there lightly more easily than others.
