i love this game so much. i have the Engi Cruiser and Zoltan Cruiser. i hate the engi cruiser, zoltan cruiser is pretty good, but i still prefer the Kestrel the most.

When I want to bring rooms back to sufficient oxygen faster, I open all internal doors. Sometimes, I forget them open or simply hit the wrong button. Since they're all open, hitting open again opens the airlock doors and "AHH!"

I only have the 1st layout for the Engi, Kestrel and Zoltan. I'd say I love the Kestrel the most, ZOltan second and Engi... I rather dislike. Strongly.

Zoltan Layout B is a tank early on, as long as you invest in shields sooner than later. The two ions can keep their weapons offline until your pike beam is ready to tear a hole in their ass. Keep the ions on autofire and when the pike beam is ready, fire it right when their shields are ion'd.

I just won my first battle by killing the crew. It was surprisingly simple.
