The series is silly. I still like it, but I have yet to find a Tomino work I don't like that isn't Brain Powerd (which was pretty bad).

Speaking of a silly series (sort of), I REALLY need to start watching G-Gundam again.  Been fiddling with HGFC Master/Shining and Humable God.

Gundam AGE finale today. An end to a subpar series with mostly decent designs.

Not really. Flit is 14 at the beginning of the series and is perfectly willing to let someone else pilot the Gundam. The third generation protagonist, Kio (and also the most annoying little prick in the series), is 13. That's the same age as (the infinitely better) Victory Gundam's Uso Ewin.

The MG OVA version isn't that good, yeah.  But the new Robot Damashii for all 3 designs are loving fantastic.

Recently started watching Turn A and After War Gundam.
After War is okay, but it feels weird to see gundams that are pretty much the ones from Wing, except not

There is absolutely no reason (except newtype dolphins arc) for anyone who liked Wing to dislike Gundam X. It's a very underappreciated series, though it does have its problems (like that loving narrator and the aforementioned arc).

Turn A is awesome, full stop.

Victory Gundam is nice too. The soundtrack is amazing, but Tomino does dislike it because he wrote it during his depression and killed a bunch of characters off. Also the Victory 2 Assault Buster is decked out to the point of being loving AWESOME.
