Author Topic: Words you have a personal vendetta against. (hate)  (Read 3172 times)

no i don't? i see and read topics on this forum all the time with stuff pertaining to homoloveuality and i often choose not to post in it. one example is axolotl talking about port constantly. you don't see me following his posts around on the forum and telling him how he's going to hell. i see homo-oriented topics all the time and decide not to post; constantly focusing on and reminding other people of things you don't like about them simply isn't right. i sure would have alot more respect for you if you could do the same.

if you're a liberal, maybe it'd be best to show one of the most positive aspects of the political view by acknowledging and respecting other beliefs, even if they contradict with your own. i don't hate homoloveuals, and it would probably be best if you stop trying to make yourself believe something that's not true to try to justify being a jerk.

i respect your beliefs and opinions

but accepting =/= not acknowledging stupid people like you hating on something perfectly fine

i seriously think you need your head checked if you think that you have never attacked a homoloveual or gay marriage because of your own beliefs. you shouldn't be telling me to accept other people. only he without sin may cast the first stone.

like i said, i don't hate anyone or any group. i can disagree with, and that's fine, but there's a fine line between hating and disagreeing. everyone's said hateful things at one point or another, but that doesn't make us hateful people.

That's not even something that it makes sense to be able to disagree with. That's like "disagreeing" with Asians, or blacks, or Jews, or wh'ever.

what i don't understand is why you think homoloveual or even homoromantic marriage is bad, let alone homoloveual/romantic people.

i think you know understand my views very well, you want me to state them so you can laugh at it and insult it and me further. i'm not interested in taking part in that, based on the way you've already personally attacked me repeatedly in this conversation and accused me of being something i'm not.

disagreeing with, as in lifestyles, ideologies or views. not people themself.

no i don't understand why you hate homoromantic or homoloveual beliefs

are you just too afraid that you will look stupid because of it?

The only "view" is that men are attractive...?

i don't hate the beliefs. hate's a very strong word for something like that. when you talk about hate, it's things like murder, vandalism and even genocide. Riddler hated the jewish people, and saw them as inferior. i'm not Riddler, darkness.

dislike or disagree with would be much more appropriate.

if you're asking this honestly, then i can honestly answer back that fear plays a part in this, as it does in everything else in life. i know alot of times when posting about something controversial, i fear of the negative responses people may make to a certain post, or that i'm afraid the things people say about me. it's something to be overcome. i'd be lying if i said that some people on this forum aren't intimidating to me and that i fear viewing their posts, but it's only human.

however, i believe i'm generally correct in saying that it's easier for you to post without fear, darkness, because your views seem to generally correspond with the popular opinion here. i'm not saying you just go with the crowd, though.

it doesn't matter the word choice

it matters the meaning of the phrase, which you understood very well.
