you guys are barely even reading the thread. you see "minecraft" so you have to stuff on it.

all he's asking for is a run feature and he gave the one in minecraft as an example. please quit overloading your internet diapers because he was talking about minecraft. it would actually be a good idea, and i think this should be made.

Funny thing is, I have MORE complainers about the "minecraft complainers" themselves than people ACTUALLY complaining about the game minecraft...

Please comment on the Suggestion itself for now on and not the jerk at the top of the page. thanks!

This wouldn't be too hard to script I believe. Just have it switch between playertypes.

Maybe I dont have minecraft you derp.
interesting ninja

instead of saying you don't have minecraft, you ninja to go sneaky and insult the person saying you "might not have it"

The corpses are an easy modification and the sprint fov adjust is easy

I don't think motion blur is necessary but FOV changes would be very easy
Actually, I'm not sure how the server could tell the client to change their FOV.

You can adjust the max/min/default fov to a player type

I've never seen this work though.

I thought the only way this would work would be through a client modification where the server can communicate to the client to adjust their FOV.

Try parkour playertype.

This isn't even remotely close to what he is asking for.

I would like to have animations involving elbows and knees.

I've seen it done with the Atlas and P-Body playertypes, so why not Blockheads? It could be a client-sided mod that effects everyone from the player's perspective.

Port's done FOV-changing scripts depending on speed before. It's entirely possible and I assume it's pretty easy.

it does blur when falling,

and i think it has acceleration.

Lemme test it
I'll be back with results

EDIT: Nope it don't work

seems like a really good idea

There's a handy way of doing this with jets. It's also entirely possible with player types and commands and I'm fairly certain an add-on already exists.
