I had the preview on one of my computers, it certainly felt faster.

It's not the same without start button.

This is where I had a problem. I use the start menu far too much, but I believe there are some third-party programs out there that can allow you to re-create it.

What I find odd is that Microsoft said the reason they got rid of it was because people "didn't use it", yet I also heard they were trying to prevent people from making a third-party menu for Windows 8. Why do that if some people actually use it?

Plus the whole big box thing seems like a downgrade from normal Icons. Infact the OS looks like a step backwards to try and kill the desktop market and draw people toward the phone and tablet market while forcing the pc gamers into the dieing console market. Lame.

I dislike the default layout even if it can switch between different setups, I think i prefer the current one better.
