Author Topic: Your thought on console exclusive games?  (Read 1731 times)

Only reason is laziness (not saying that's a bad reason). And, regarding what Marcem said, add a big sticker or something saying "GAMEPAD REQUIRED FOR OPERATION".

you can't, it is assumed you have an input device. if a game tells you to have a pad before you buy the game it should be assumed the buyer has or intends to have a pad.

or you could use telekinesis.
your point is stupid. you cant use an xbox without a controller. if you would have said what if they only had a guitar hero controller then youd make sense.

PS3 stole from Wii, XBOX is all over Kinect which is also an Wii interpretation. Also Microsoft is all over "KINECT KINECT KINECT" now.
PC and Wii masterrace.

And for anyone who says PS3/XBox360 costs less than a good PC:
A game for either console platforms cost twice as much as a game for the PC. At least in my country.
And the consoles have octo the less usability you can have with a PC.
If you want you can just put the XBox or PS3 controller connected to PC and it's still better.

Console exclusive games are regarded, considering PC has exclusive games too, and if you think about it, hundred thousands of them: Online Flash games; Shockwave games; (Software); Indie Games. And even the cross-platform games, even if they are ported horrible to the PC, they still work and look better than on console.

A whole book can be made with an argument why a PC is better than consoles.

The Sly Cooper series has always been a Sony exclusive.

I know, but I was hoping the new one wouldnt be.

Sly Cooper to Sony is like what Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. is to Nintendo.

PC game with a controller if needed. PC is master race.

You can buy a terrible pc compatible controller for pennys. That argument is invalid.

I want Ace combat so bad.

And stop requoting that stupid image, it gets stupid the third time.

What makes me mad if there is a good game for the pc, then the devs decide to make sequels for it on consoles only. The thing is those console games are made on pc's.

Console exclusives are a good thing, they are an incentive to buy the console.
If there weren't any exclusives, there would be no point to multiple consoles.

Or, if you feel like spending a little extra, USB 360 controllers are natively supported by Win7 and don't cost too much

Plus I'm sure there are dozens of amazing drivers/software to customize the stuff out of console controllers.
