Several large black vans roll up in front of the capitol building.  Men with kevlar and balaclavas rush out of the back, armed with a variety of Aribissian SI firearms.  They open fire on any soldiers immediatley, sending civilians away with screams.  One warrior steps out, armed with an RPG, a thermobaric PG-7 warhead sticks out of the front.  The warriors cover the launch of the grenade with suppressive fire.  The warhead hits an office on the west wing of the building, burning anythnig within its radius to a crisp and setting the builing ablaze.  The warriors fight to their deaths, keeping firefighters away from the scene for a good three hours before they are elimiated completely.  The trucks unexpectedly explode 30 minutes afterwards, injuring several others.  Casualties are high on both sides.
Because that just slipped right through security.

I'm sure the "Meh Syndrome" doesn't apply to capitol security.

Are you stupid

They rolled up in trucks in front, of course security is going to react that's why there was a firefight in the first place.

EDIT:  Instead of insulting your intellience let me just explain to you my logic:  Because Swat's (3) is based on America, I assume that the building the president is based in is just a mock-white house.  The whitehouse has a laege courtyard in fornt of it, and beyond that is Penn. Ave, where te trucks roll up, at which point security reports this and attempts to inspect the trucks, however, Aribissian warriors jump out of the back and squeeze off the first round, and a firefight ensues.

Much less, if this assembles enters or moves through the capitol, I would believe that it would be marked before it even got close.  Entering the city limit would mean a high-level security check, and one again when they got close to the capitol.  If they don't pass the first one, or shoot the security officials, closer checks would have been notified and a great deal of special forces at a higher point if they ran it.

Security checks happen a mile outside of Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. and also at the city limit.  I know this for a fact because i have gone through this myself at least 5 times when president Bush was in office after 9/11.  That's some tight security, bro.

I've been to D.C. at least 7 times as of late, I've driven past the White house at least 3 times.  Never went through any security checks entering the city or while passing th building. Sure, the trucks may have been marked, but that doesn't mean that 100 soldiers will be on the scene and open fire on the trucks as soon as they see them.  It just means that security will be on alert for suspicious activity.

If you run a security check, or shoot the officials, you WILL be hunted down by police and federal marshals.

Well no loving stuff

Okay, so he's thinking that the firefight wouldn't start until he got the the building.  There'd be roadblocks everywhere.

They didn't run any security checks and the only opened fire at the White House, and they never ran away afterward, they fought to their deaths(may dere soles rets in pees)

We'll just wait for Swat 3 to post and see what he says.

North Avalonia began its offensive on South Avalonia last month after South Avalonian forces shot and killed a North Avalonian Soldier at the border.  The North Avalonian Forces (NAF) failed to reach the Southern Capital of H'Trea and South Avalonian Forces (SAF) began a counteroffensive. SAF advanced within twenty miles of Telar before reaching a WWI no man's land mixed with Vietnam 1970 type scenario. The situation has since deteriorated as one of Avalonia's worst recorded winters has frozen men in their foxholes.

After four months of stalemate, North and South Avalonian delegates (South Avalonia established a minimalist government after the uprising) came together to discuss the possibility of uniting North and South Avalonia. After much debate, it was decided that The two governments will not conjoin, but will attempt to exist as allies.

This lasted until shots were again fired by the NAF. Since then the NAF has pushed all the way back to the North-South border established by the Treaty of Telar. Fighting has since continued around this land, and no diplomatic solutions have availed themselves.

So Avalonia is now a Confederacy?

We're back to where we were when the Treaty of Telar was signed (North-South Korea situation), only there's fighting at the moment.

Weak but well armed republic in the North, well armed and defending anarchists in the South.

Can Soviet troops fall back into North Avalonian territory?

At this point, they can do whatever they feel like. Neither government is powerful enough to kick you out if you decide to make a bit of a puppet government out of one side. The people however, will quite probably oppose you if you if you attempt to establish a new government, kinda like what happened with the insurrection that forced your troops out the first time.
