But not everyone has Blockland Glass
tell everyone to get BLG

The idea is it is easier to download one mod then one for every server.

Here's a solution to your problem.

There will never be a way to allow the download of super complex GUIs from the server. There's too much inherent risk to do a direct download and it'd be far too complex in terms of logistics to do it in a "safe" way.

This is still the case.

The idea where only approved GUIs would be easily downloaded with a little popup when you join a server sounded like a really good idea.(Approved meaning through RTB) I mean, we'd need to wait for them to be approved, but I'd be very willing to wait if we can keep full functionality.

My post on page two was completely overlooked, wasn't it?

Sorry :l
Someone could create a mod like RTB called the GUI Safe.

People could submit their GUI's to the GUI Safe team and they could approve of it like the RTB team does with their add-ons.

Then there would be some kind of check when joining a server, if the GUI has been approved by the GUI Safe team it gets direct downloaded, but if it hasn't been approved it gives you a warning that GUI Safe has not approved it, and it may not be safe, and you get disconnected from the server. Basic GUIs are fine because they can be downloaded safely, but for more complex GUIs, someone should make a "GUI Safe" team/mod of some sort. This would pretty much fix the whole problem.. right?

Sounds pretty good. Maybe we'd just want to limit it to approved GUI's though.

I'd rather wait for a feature like that to be implemented in RTB than have someone create a whole new download system similar to it just for one section.

I see what you're saying. I'm hoping to get this into actual blockland since not everyone has RTB (especially new users).

Ok, what about this idea and its feasibility.  We have prompt events, which open a GUI with buttons that let you choose Yes/No or Ok/Cancel.  Those buttons then allow for the onpromptaccept/onpromptdecline inputs to be triggered.  What if we do the same for other GUIs that are instigated throughout the game.  I would want a tutorial on how to do this, because it is exactly what I want.  The only issue is that it doesn't display VCE.

Pretty good idea, but I'm aiming for much higher customizability here.

Ephialtes, if I made the website and scripts and everything, do you think you could get Badspot to add them to the game?
