In FO3 you could actually TRAVEL to the places the radio stations were. GNR plaza and the Enclave Base. Three Dog was an actualy character in the game unlike in FNV-unless i missed a whole area-Mr New Vegas is just a voice that comes through your PipBoy.

Diverting power to the Archimedes 2 doesn't get anybody mad? Is there a difference between arming and diverting power?  And can I only use the Euclid C-Finder by doing so?

Arming it causes it to fire on the facility and kills all the NCR d00ds that are outside and your NCr rep drops buttloads.

Diverting power causes NCR to like you less but not a whole lot;.

Diverting power to the Archimedes 2 is the only way to get the C-Finder, though no one seems  to care.
I wouldnt do it, though, because the C-Finder is useless.

His head is still functional and is located in the brotherhood base.
