dwarf fortress

it has a very steep learning curve. however, it's worth it. just be sure to embark with less land to reduce lag assuming your computers aren't potatoes.

FTL can be played pretty nicely on a flash drive. You most likely won't be able to save, which isn't really that much of a problem, right?
