2. WhyAlot of peapole can't memorize them all
3. ... dot dot dot.
4. Use console Are you implying we can use the console to get a list of console commands?

This stuff is easy to remember for anyone who knows why you shouldn't be doing half of it in the first place. And yes, you can use the console to get a list of console commands. A much more comprehensive list than that, in fact. But then all that list in the OP really is is a collection of parlor tricks.

Or,

>>  /scriptdump

*Lists Codes*

Many of these are utterly useless, abusive, or things you shouldn't be doing in the first place.
Not to mention many are incompletely explained or simply incorrect.

then how about we try to make the suggestion BETTER and perhaps make a GUI with any and all commands that are useful or entertaining, which would be much more fun and convenient to use in a GUI than memorizing and typing in those commands. there must a reason the Chase Cam mod has over 4,500 downloads.

"A GUI with all useful commands" is a very vague design goal. "Useful" can be contextual, depending on the person or situation. To someone who actually utilizes the console, /getid can be very useful. To anyone else it spits out a random number and distance. Many of these commands take in parameters, like the one to set all of a player's bricks on fire. Do you include a list of all particle emitter datablocks to go with that?

Anyone capable of doing this right won't want to do it at all. I honestly don't see how you can salvage any worthwhile idea from this suggestion.

you have a very good point.

hey guys, you know, tsdev has the same thing that aide was suggesting. if you type in a bit of it, it shows a dropdown menu with all of the functions possible, and all of the variables you have made. and btw setro, if you know what you are doing in the first place, i doubt it would be better to just type it out then to get the ENTIRE list of functions for you to look through just to type in one. and anyways, why would you want to?

...and what is that
Why do you always have to be so stupid?

he meant TorqueDev.
Correction: TorqueScriptDev. It is a neat little program from garagegames for torque that basically helps you make full add-ons from the scripting, to the GUIs (i think). it has a little drop down menu when you type when scripting that shows all of the available functions, variables, and other stuff like that.

no, it's TorqueDev, AKA Codeweaver.

Why not use nexus's server command gui?
It works like that
