Oh well. This isn't new. Rockstar must have some sort of thing going on with Sony, they used to publish their older titles on the PS2 first before porting it to the Xbox, then the PC. Then they sometimes have little exclusive things for the PlayStation titles; like an extra gang hideout for the PS3 version of Red Dead Redemption. Then there is the PS3 exclusive they are working on - Agent.

It will probably be the NOOSE again or possibly some re-imagining of the National Guard.

Area 69 belonged to Las Venturas. GTA V is taking place in Los Santos - the difference is though that it's a reboot, their re-imagined Los Santos. Think GTA III to IV. GTA V is going to be Southern California, with the surrounding hills, countryside and all that jib-jab. So there will be Los Santos, along with possibly a recreation of San Diego and other cities.

So it is going to be very big, not one small island like Los Santos in GTA: SA. Forget about that one.

It's supposed to build on every game they've created. They really know what they're doing now.

Also, about every game they have been making was "testing grounds" for something new. I remember reading a post on another forum of someone explaining this a lot better, but basically GTA IV was the new RAGE Engine, one example from RDR were the cloth physics, and MP3 plays like a first-person shooter put in third-person; the controls are amazing. There is a lot more to it, but GTA V is going to be great.

Other than that, after GTA V, do you think they'll start work reimagining Vice City?

The GTA games are separated into three universe canons: 2D, 3D and HD. It's obvious what games belong to which universe. The only things that can cross over the universes are things like brand names, or people on the radio since they don't affect the story or anything - like Lazlow. So Tommy won't be in GTA V, he is in the 3D canon.

I was hoping GTA V would be Vice City, I would love to see that reboot. I'm thinking they might do San Feirro and Las Venturas though after V. I don't know though, it's all speculation. Who knows how much time it will take though.

Characters like Ken Rosenburg are important to the story and were transferred from VC to SA. I don't see why they wouldn't move Tommy to GTA V either.
