It's not like the gore was unrealistic.
I don't see how gore in this movie is something to be derided, considering it was all pretty legitimate. Have any of you seen some of the uncut 80s slashers that are out there?
Ridley did a great job, it wasn't something that disappointed me, the story was structured enough, and it left me with some questions. I'm seeing criticism because of gore and an unpleasant ending, it's not over. Wait for part two.

i've only seen the first 2 because my dad says they're the only ones worth watching.

i didn't find prometheus scary at all (this coming from someone who is scared pretty easily). there were a few times where i felt sick from the gore, but as long as i kept "everyone's gonna die" in my head i was okay.

loving love this movie

not as good as the original movie but still damn good.

also it good have been 10x better if they didn't choose damon lindelof or whatever as their writer, i don't like him. hopefully the sequel will have a better writer.
