SPOILER ALERT
I hope your happy.

Okay, what the hell did I just watch. Normally I'm a pretty laid back guy and not much bothers me but holy stuff, that movie has scared me stuffless.
For those of you that have seen the movie, when the female Dr. does the emergency surgery on her new octopus baby to get it out of her, I literally got up and left the room, only to hear screaming for like the next 5 minutes, come back, and her dead husband's kentucky fried CORPSE is lying in some fetal position, I pickup the remote: stuff, pause doesn't work, look up, nothing has moved yet, forget it. Power off.

I walk into my den, sit in the chair I'm sitting in right now, at 11pm, and I'm still scared out of my mind.

On another note, great movie all-together. Opinions? Obviously not for the weak of stomach.

EDIT
Just checked the plotline on the wiki, wasn't Shaw's husband, it was the red haired gunner guy that had his helmet melted.

For those of you who have yet to see it, basic plotline / cast / etc here:

It wasn't that scary.

And the ending sucked.

new in terms of the year. It only came out in June, which is what, 3 - 4 months ago? I'd call that new.
It wasn't that scary.

And the ending sucked.
1. Literally EVERYONE died except the alien baby, Shaw and David's decapitated talking head.
2. In my defence I watched this on the equivalent of a movie theater screen, alone in my dark living room the size of a garage, pitch black. 11 at night.
Or maybe I'm just a pusillanimous individual.
3. I wouldn't know how horrible the ending was, but last I checked MOST movie endings suck :I

haven't seen it. never plan to.

it sounds horrible. why would anyone want to watch stuff like that? its just garbage; why would you want to fill your head with those kind of things. i mean, just, really...

Put loving spoiler alerts in the title.

90% of all movies like this one are stuff
thats why I dont watch any of them

blood and gore / pain isn't really scary but more disquieting and gross. kinda sickens me that people would watch it JUST to see people in extreme pain.

It left a lot of questions unanswered. Room for a sequel, possibly a series of them.

I thought it did a great job showing the origins of Alien.

Thank you for the spoiler warning

It wasn't so much as scary or surprising, but just (predictably) really really really really disgusting. It was the first time I had ever covered my eyes during a movie (the surgery scene).

The only scary part is where the aliens the pop out of nowhere.

Also the arm breaking scene. Seriously, did they have to go so far? You can really tell they're trying to appeal to gorephiles there.

why do you annoy me so much?
