this weekend was homecoming and it was just really fun and stuff. thursday was our jv football game, and friday was a varsity football game. on friday we walked in the parade before the game and then i went and hung out with some people before the game. then we went to the field about 20 mins before the game started and met up with a bunch of people and met some new people and did some stuff. and then the game started and me and this girl i had just met were having a really good time and we got to know each other pretty well and stuff. then after the game (varsity lost) there was a sort-of-party at this guys house so that was fun.
and then the dance was yesterday and that was great i went with this chick i knew and it was just kind of a fun as friends thing i wasn't trying to get with her or anything. i met up with the girl i had met the day before and we danced most of the slow songs together. then near the end the dj put on a pretty bumpin song and asked us to make a circle and to have two people have a dance-off sort of thing in the middle. so all the white kids were there and some were ok but i mean c'mon they're white people so most were pretty weak. so then i decided to go against one of my friends who was like 1 of the 5 other black kids at the school and we just shut everyone else down. it was great and everyone thought it was awesome. and then it was the last slow song so i danced with that girl again.
after the last song i said by to everyone and made sure the girl i brought had someone to bring her home (#1 thing never to do is leave your date to the dance without a ride or someone to walk her home). then me and the girl went out back and we were mackin for like 30 mins but we didnt do anything serious and then i walked her home like a mile or so and said goodbye and then i got a ride home.
