Author Topic: Anti-Abortion protest at my school  (Read 7029 times)

If I said that I were atheist, everyone else would just be like, "oh, that's cool"

there's this kid named liam that I was friends with in 5th grade

going around asking people about their religions

I say "oh dued im athiest olole it mens like u dont believe in gode and stuph"

and he goes like "dude you need to be christian or else you love satan"

mentally flipped my stuff, jesus christ hgnghgnghgn

If you were raped just sell the child to a slave factory give up the child for adoption
Genius idea

People who whine and protest against another person's choice should be shot.
They do nothing but set up unneeded roadblocks and stir stuff up.
Abortion is a choice. It cannot and should never be governed.

I would laugh in the protesters faces.

males shouldn't get to have opinions on abortion

I think thats a very good point without the unnecessary hostility you added in there :P
We should have the right to chose what we can do with out own bodies.

What if the male is pregnant

yes, but most females won't be able to form decent arguments and will instead hint at what they want done/changed

Hostility aside, I'm just sick of the bullstuff..

I sincerely think that bearing an unwanted child is more cruel and destructive than letting them go before they develop. How much more likely is an unwanted child subjugated to abuse and neglect? It's a matter of quality of life, not preservation.

we don't need more people on this planet
the last thing we need are to overpopulate and then to have the children lined up and shot to control the amount of people

I believe abortion should be talked about in schools because young women need to know that there are options available to them if they get pregnant. I have no idea why people would be protesting at a school, though

What the forget? Who would want their own rights to be taken away?
What about the child's rights? It can't talk or any of that stuff yet, so it's as worthless as a watermelon!
A mother who really, REALLY loves her child would not kill it, EVEN if that child's dad was a rapist, OR if she wasn't ready to be a mom. Yes, it is a CHILD. NOT a THING. The term for a human at that stage of growth may be "fetus" but that shouldn't be used to try to make that child sound less than human. It's still in the end a human life! It can't do everything we can do yet, but it will one day! We were all just like it at one time, nothing more than a bunch of cells or a dumb-looking blob of jelly.
If the mother can't support it, don't just kill it! That's even worse! Give it a fighting chance, for goodness sake! Just because you can't afford to take care of the child doesn't mean nobody else can! We have orphan shelters for a reason in this world.

BUT
If the child's birth is threatening the life of the mother, then sure, I believe a choice must be made to either save one life or lose both.

Overpopulation wouldn't be a problem if we finally got off our lazy bums and began really working together to colonize other planets! We have a whole galaxy at our disposal!

Again, what option does the child have? Is it just because it isn't as smart as us yet that it doesn't deserve to have rights, even though it's biologically human just like all of us? It's a choice, sure. Between life or death.
