This link is quite interesting, this had come mid-discussion and I had not known about this. Most people claim Obama has increased the deficit. Please do take a look at this.

I had decided to bring up in tonight's over-dinner-discussion last night's presidential debate. Both of my parents are die-hard Romney fans, and I'm an Obama supporter. I put forth my knowledge, they put forth theirs. They essentially pulled a romney on me: I start to say something "OH BUT THATS WRONG OBAMA DIDNT DO THAT AND ROMNEY DID ________"

This continued 30 minutes AFTER dinner, when I would've liked to be out of there doing something else rather than bickering about politics. OH but it didn't stop there, ohhhhh no. I got up to leave, washed my dishes, while they're both still talking, and I'm dead silent, and I leave the room when my mom says something to the affect of "Romney is more qualified to fix our government because he was a business man." at which point I decided to hell with it, and just replied "Then I guess we really do need Romney to save our asses."

She still wouldn't let it go. 10 minutes later, she's in my den right behind me while I'm on facebook, asking WHY I like obama, and she just goes on and on and on slamming him. So I once again go in favor of Romney, just so she'd lay off. I had hoped and prayed it was over, but she had OOOONE more punch to throw. She called me into our family room, and showed me "Obama 2016", which shows how socialist obama is and how in 2016 it's gonna be the apocalypse, the country is fallen apart, and their main focus point / image throughout the trailer is Lady Liberty all corroded / fugly / physical representation of how horrible obama is.

So forums, slam me. Die hard Romney fans, forget off Just kidding, all opinions welcome.
Post who you are in favor of, and why. Give facts to back up opinions.

On a more serious note: They should respect your beliefs but they are also your parents have the right to teach you about the world around you.

Irony because they both had bailouts, Obama promised to the defecit by half but actually raised it, and taxes only hurt businesses.

What's stated in the OP suggests stupidity on your end.  According to the story delivered by Koonta, she displayed blatant denial about the situation and tried her best to ignore major points and simply try to shut out the opposing individual.  This is stupidity.

Funny thing is, not even the republicans here take you seriously.  You're a god damned joke.
