I'm honestly planning not to vote when I get older if both parties have sucky candidates. :/

I'm voting for Abe Lincoln

are you even surprised, though? this is how the blf works

i'm not surprised but i still wonder how people can steer the subject of an argument to religion, regardless of what it is.

I dont really think any choice is "superior", it's an opinion.

Because most opinions derive from religious beliefs.

That means that for the remainder of the winner's term you will have absolutely no ground to complain about the president

Glad we could reach an agreement
it just really ticks me off when people don't vote and then complain about the person who won

why does voting matter dont  we have an electoral college

The electoral college votes based on what the citizens want. They represent our choices.

Sounds stupid.

Sounds stupid.

In modern times it kind of is. Part of the reason it was set in place is the fact that tallying the entire American population's votes way back when would take far too long and be too complicated, seeing as how there used to be no electricity or cars. In modern times though the votes can be counted up with little to no trouble.
